Today, I got a new warm and healthy recipe for you guys that you just have to try. You know... soups weren’t always my thing, my opinion about them always changes! One day I love soup the other day, I hate it! This soup is something different and I can’t explain it with words so I’ll have to send you to your kitchen and start making it so you’ll understand too!
This soup is not just tasty but it's super super healthy!!! It's filled with butternut squash and sweet potato which you can also be switched into a pumpkin. We are also going to add lots of flavours into our nice warm pot to give more flavour and tastiness.

1. Did you know butternut squash is loaded with vitamin A?
One cup of butternut squash provides more vitamin A than a human needs per day!
2. There are 2 types of squashes; winter and summer squash.
Butternut squash is a winter squash and it could be stored for days and even weeks and sometimes even months!
3. It's low in salt, fat and calories!!!!

Sooooo are you guys ready to make some soup? LET'S GET COOKING!
WRITTEN RECIPE:
For a family size:
Ingredients:
🎃1 butternut quash
🎃2 sweet potatoes
🎃1 1/2 tsp olive oil
🎃3 medium yellow onions
🎃1 medium red onion
🎃3 tsp garlic powder or fresh chopped garlic
🎃1/4 tsp nutmeg
🎃1/4 tsp cinnamon
🎃1 1/2 tsp salt
🎃1/2 tsp black pepper
🎃about 7 cups boiling water (full kettle) you may need less or more depending on your pot!
Instructions:
🧡Start by prepping your veggies; chop all onions, chop sweet potatoes and butternut squash into medium cubes (doesn’t have to be too small because we will mash everything but shouldn’t be too big).
🧡In a medium sauce pan on top of a preheated medium heat stove, cook olive oil with chopped onions until gold and brown for about 7 mins.
🧡Into our pot on top of a preheated stove, place sweet potatoes and butternut squash and onions. Pour all the water in. At this point you will have to see how much water you need because you may use smaller or bigger sweet potatoes and butter squash. So, pour water until all veggies are covered with water. No need for extra amount of water!
🧡Let everything cook for about 30 mins. After about 30 mins, sweet potatoes and butternut squash will be soft and ready to blend.
🧡Into a blender, pour all the veggies with out the water! (Leave the water in a different bowl) blend everything until smooth and place back into the pot on top of the preheated stove. Pour the water back to the pot and now you will get to choose how liquidy or thick and smooth you want your soup. So you don’t have to pour all the water if it's too much.
🧡Spice everything up!Pour all spices into the pot and give a good mix.
🧡Keep cooking on top of a medium heat stove for another 15mins.
🧡Serve the soup with 🧀 and green onion and enjoy!
