WOW HEALTHY COOKIES

Updated: Oct 14, 2020

You ask yourself what are WOW COOKIES? Well.. keep reading then!

These WOW COOKIES are not just delicious but they're full of protein, eggless and sugar free!!! If you are vegan, there's also an option to make them vegan!!!!!!!

You know, since I started baking, my expectations started to be very very high. I'll be honest with you and tell you that I bake lots of cookies at home. All kinds of cookies and I kept trying to find a perfect and healthy and easy recipe dark chocolate chunks cookies. And that's why I call them the WOW COOKIES because honestly, they don't feel or look healthy.

All that being said, these cookies are so simple to make! Literally take you 5 mins to make and 10 mins to bake. THAT'S IT!! I mean, why complicate things when things can be easy? Remember, sometimes less is way more!!!!

Soooo all that being said, lets just get baking:)

WRITTEN RECIPE - Makes 10 medium cookies

Ingredients:

- 1 cup almond flour

- 1 cup oat flour

- 1 scoop / 1/3 cup protein powder

-pinch of salt

- 1/4 cup honey / maple syrup

- 1/4 cup melted olive oil based margarine

- 50g dark chocolate chunks

- 2 tsp brown sugar for topping

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 330 degrees F. Line parchment paper on a cookie pan and set aside.

  2. In a medium bowl combine all dry ingredients just not the chocolate chunks and mix together very well.

  3. Into the bowl, add melted margarine, honey / maybe syrup and mix well. The batter is going to be pretty thick and almost very dry but just keep mixing and kind of kneading with your hands until fully mixed together. Mix in chocolate chunks.

  4. Shape into balls and place on the pan. Mash the balls slightly with a fork and place into preheated oven for 10 mins. The cookies will be soft when they'll come out of the oven but they will harden up while chilling so don't bake them until they're hard because then they'll turn out dry. Trust me. I learned the hard way. That being said, do make sure they get a nice gold and brown colour. Don't leave them "raw".

  5. Let chill. Andddddd TIME TO EAT THEM!!

ENJOY!!!
